Northern suburbs parcels, packed in Observatory
Most Bellville orders are small: two or three local titles, a variant cover someone missed at a launch, or a figure for a desk shelf. Each comic goes into a fresh bag and board, and the stack is sandwiched between rigid card before the courier box is closed.
Office parks around Tyger Valley and the medical campus at Tygerberg are common delivery points, because people would rather collect a parcel at reception than leave it at a gate.
- Bag, board and rigid outer on every comic
- Office and reception addresses welcome
- Figures boxed separately from paper items
- Tracking sent once the parcel leaves Observatory
Flat corners on arrival, every time.
Students at UWC and the Bellville campuses
Many Bellville customers study at the University of the Western Cape or the CPUT Bellville campus. They tend to buy one issue at a time, so we keep a running wishlist for them and post when a run is complete rather than sending five tiny parcels.
- Wishlists held until a run is complete
- Residence addresses checked before dispatch
- Gift notes for birthdays and graduations
Winter rain on the Cape Flats
Between May and August the northern suburbs get long wet spells, and a soggy courier box is the fastest way to ruin a cover. In those months we add an inner plastic wrap and mark the box to keep it upright, so the comics never sit flat in a puddle on a van floor.
